Global warming has been around since the beginning of time. Even the dinosaurs fought global warming, also named, "prehistoric global warming." Today though, global warming is doing terrible things to the planet. One of the effects that will make global warming worse is when you throw away your refrigerator, Chlorinated Fluoro Carbon (CFC) could be released into the air, and CFC is a chemical that can destroy the ozone layer. The ozone layer is important, it protects us from getting to much heat from the sun, and it also keeps our oxygen (O2) in the earths atmosphere so we can breathe. Burning fossil fuels also contributes to global warming; it releases pollution into the air that can also destroy our ozone layer. The main cause of global warming is burning fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas. Burning this releases gross smoke and pollution into the air which can destroy our ozone layer. All this pollution will eventually lead to melted polar ice caps, non-breathable air, non-drinkable water, and uninhabitable earth! All you need to do to stop all this silly stuff is recycle, and ride your bike more, don't use your car so much. For more about about stopping global warming click here,
